The tenth HBF Run for a Reason saw 33,323 participants run, walk and wheel their way through the streets of Perth, completing either the 4km, 12km or half marathon.
This year, the HBF Run for a Reason raised over $940,000 helping to achieve a staggering $10 million in ten years for health charities across WA, including the event’s feature charities: Cancer Council WA, Diabetes WA, Heart Foundation and Lifeline WA.
HBF Run for a Reason paid tribute to a select group of 83 young and old, elite and amateur participants know as ‘Run Heroes’, who today crossed the finish line for their tenth time.
Celebrations were felt throughout the course with exciting entertainment around every corner, making it the events biggest street party to date.
HBF CEO John Van Der Wielen, said, “We are proud to host an event year after year that focuses on bringing the community together where all fundraising dollars go directly to their chosen cause.
