Why is there only one wave start for the Snap Fitness Half Marathon?
The half marathon is self-seeded which means there is only one start wave. It is recommended that faster runners make their way to the front, but don’t fret as your individual time begins when you cross the start line.
How / when do I collect my event pack?
The HBF Run for a Reason Event Centre will open on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May, if you haven’t selected to have your pack mailed to you (in the registration process), you will need to visit the Event Centre to collect it.
How do I get to the start line?
There will be special train and bus services that will run on event day to get you to the start line on time. These are free for participants, simply show your participant bib to jump on.
Keep an eye out on the website as we will be publishing transport options and road closures closer to the event.
Are there aid stations on course?
Yes – there are multiple aid stations across the course which will be stocked with water and Powerade Zero. Aid stations are located at approximately 5.5km, 9km, 12.5km, 14km, 17km and 19.5km. If you need any specific items, you will need to carry these yourself.
