The 4km course takes you on a scenic walk, jog, roll or run along the Swan River. It’s loaded with fun surprises to keep the kids and adults alike entertained. So if you’re looking for a fun day with your family and friends, raising money for charity or if it’s your first time at HBF Run for a Reason, it’s the perfect course for you. Everyone that finishes will also receive a medal as they cross the finish line.

Which start group should I choose?
We suggest choosing a start group based on your estimated finish time listed above. If you want to run with family and friends, it’s best to work out a similar pace and enter the same start group.
Does everyone receive an event t-shirt?
T-shirts are included as part of your registration, but sizes and quantities are limited. Be sure to get in early to secure your size and check your measurements on the sizing guide carefully as you won’t be able to change your t-shirt size.
How / when do I collect my event pack?
The HBF Run for a Reason Event Centre will open on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May, if you haven’t selected to have your pack mailed to you (in the registration process), you will need to visit the Event Centre to collect it.
How do I get to the start line?
There will be special train and bus services that will run on event day to get you to the start line on time. These are free for participants, simply show your participant bib to jump on.
Keep an eye out on the website as we will be publishing transport options and road closures closer to the event.
