Choose your HBF Run for a Reason cause

The HBF Run for a Reason aims to inspire our members and the wider WA community to pay attention to health and fitness – and raise funds for six very worthy causes along the way!

When you register, you’ll be asked to nominate one of these causes by creating your own fundraising page. Here they are (in alphabetical order):

alt

Arthritis Western Australia
The effects of arthritis, osteoporosis and related conditions can be debilitating. Arthritis Western Australia provides support for people with arthritis, and their families and friends, and promotes awareness of these challenges across the community and in business, industry and government. The organisation also funds research into possible causes and cures, and better ways to live with arthritis.

Asthma Foundation WA
For the 225,000 Western Australians who have asthma, life is a daily challenge to maintain good control of their disease by avoiding triggers and managing medication regimes. The Foundation offers education and support services for the community, and funds local medical and scientific research into asthma.

This charity is Australia’s leading not-for-profit heart health organisation, dedicated to reducing the dreadful effects of the number of people living with, or dying from stroke, heart disease and blood vessel disease.

Since being established in Australia in 1959, the Heart Foundation has funded world-class cardiovascular research, supported health professionals in their practice, developed health promotion activities, informed and educated the public, and assisted people with cardiovascular disease.

By fundraising for the Heart Foundation you will go into the draw to win a range of great prizes.
